Printy Panels - Hinge Panels

Hinged Printy Panels for doors and more complex constructions.

Options

• Print-in-place - A weaker option, but requires no hardware. Prints must be accurate with strong layer adhesion.
• Wire - Use 24-22 gauge (about 0.5 to 0.75mm) wire to attach hinges.

Printing

• If print-in-place hinges are fused, you may be able to loosen them up by carefully wiggling the panels back and forth.
• All parts can be printed without supports.
• Do NOT add a brim.
• Use large 0.3mm layer heights for quicker prints that are still strong.
• Use PETG, ABS, or strong formulations of PLA. Silk, woodfill, and matte PLAs are NOT recommended.
