A 3D printed take on the classic game Four-in-a-Row (AKA Captain's Mistress or Connect Four).
Game tokens for this model are compatible with Zaggrivation - a strategy game for up to four players.
How to Play
- Two players take turns adding a single token with their assigned color to the board.
- The first player to create an unbroken line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) of four or more tokens of their color wins the round.
- If the game board is filled without a line of four, the round is a draw.
- A game consists of an even number of rounds so that both players have an equal number of opportunities to play first.
Customization
- Standard Board - More compact
- Lockable Board - Supports a sliding lock bar to store game tokens within the board.
- Storage Bin - A token storage bin that splits into two bowls for use during play.
Printing
- All parts can be printed without supports.
- Parts must print flat to work well. Add a brim if curling or bed adhesion is an issue.
- Print 42 tokens equally divided between two easily distinguished colors.
- Print two feet.
- Two perimeter walls is sufficient for the game board, but increase this if you want a stronger print.
Assembly
- Screw together all tokens. Threads should be loose enough to tighten by hand, but results will depend on filament used, print settings, and printer.
- If the threads are too tight, try adding water to the thread to lubricate it.
- If the threads are too loose, glue the token halves together.
- Connect the feet. Add glue if you wish for these to be permanently attached.
