A barrel-themed game holder with a wave-like display action. Includes a hidden second compartment that can be accessed by disassembly.
- No supports required.
- Moving parts require a sufficiently smooth surface to slide without excessive friction.
- Some barrel hoops have minimal bed contact and may require a brim.
- Hoops can be printed with zero infill to help them flex during assembly.
- Hide seams in the gap between barrel staves.
Assembly
- Snap hoops onto barrel shells. For a more secure lid, use “tight” hoop, which includes a small interior ridge for a tighter grip.
- Attach the middle shell to the bottom shell with the printed bolt. The bolt has a built-in relief so it will still allow the center shell to rotate even when fully tightened.
- Insert games into the center shell with labels facing forward in a clockwise direction.
- Add lid.
Proper Use and Warnings
- To select a game, rotate the center shell clockwise until the game you desire is visible. Do not attempt to rotate anti-clockwise, as the mechanism that raises cartridges does not function in reverse.
- Do not print in an abrasive filament. Abrasive filaments can damage a game cartridge over time.
- Not intended use as a travel case unless you take additional steps to secure the lid in transit.
- Do not spin center shell too quickly. A recklessly fast spin can cause cartridges to fly out.
