Printing
- Print bins individually. You will need 8 bins, including one "start" and one "end" bin.
- All parts can be printed without supports.
- Infill is only relevant for the start/end bins, the core, and the cap. The other parts are just thin walls and won't require infill as long as you print with 3 perimeters.
Assembly
- Connect bins by inserting a short piece of raw filament in each hinge.
- If the filament falls out of the hinge too easily, a small drop of hot glue in the hinge hole will seal it in.
Update Videos
The Rolling Storage Box received many updates over time. The following videos cover those updates.
Design Your Own Bins
Use the "Bits" remix to design your own bins!

- All center bins are exactly 40mm wide.
- The left and right bins that cap off each row are slightly longer due to the tabs that protrude from the side: 42mm for the start and middle bins, and 46mm for end bins.
- When placing bins, start from the center and move outward so that all bins will have predictable spacing until you reach either end.
- Keep in mind that in some slicer software, the center of an object is used as its point of origin.
- All bins should have the exact same y-axis value.
- Once bins are placed, perform a merge to lock them into a single solid object. This will avoid double-printing perimeters and other issues that could affect print quality.
