Summary
Nodes is a construction toy that lets you build large wireframes with minimal material. Use those filament scraps for something big!
Options
- Four node connector shapes (triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon)
- Six link lengths (4, 6, 8, 10, 20, 30 notch)
- Trimmable Link - Designed to be cut down to a desired length
Printing
- No supports needed
- Requires some precision for a nice part fit
- Use PETG or TPU for the links
- Use scrap PLA for the node connectors
Tips
- Links need to be able to bend - PETG and TPU is recommended.
- For shorter links (4 & 6 notch), TPU works best.
- If node ports are too tight, use a flat head screwdriver to widen them slightly.
Common Shapes
- Tetrahedron - 4 nodes, 6 links
- Octahedron - 6 nodes, 12 links
- Cube - 8 nodes, 12 links
- Dodecahedron - 20 nodes, 30 links
- Icosahedron - 12 nodes, 30 links
